Hello, welcome to my cyberspace

I’m a cybersecurity person, a professional hip-hop dancer, an occasional overthinker, and someone who has spent an unreasonable amount of time asking, “Wait… why is that doing that?”

Dance taught me to notice the small details. Overthinking taught me not to trust the first answer too quickly. And that “why” question? It just never really went away. Somewhere along the way, cybersecurity became the field where all of that somehow made sense.

I graduated in May 2026 with a Master’s in Cyber Forensics and Security, and most of what I know, I learned by actually doing it: defending live Windows, Linux, Palo Alto, and MikroTik environments in national competitions while a red team did its best to break everything.

I also spent a year as Executive Treasurer of CyberHawks, an 860-member cybersecurity community. That meant handling budgets, tooling, and sponsorships, but also writing playbooks and training other members before competitions. Turns out, explaining something to someone else is the fastest way to find out if you actually understand it.

Right now, I’m looking for my first role in security operations, threat detection, or incident response, and I’m still asking “why” about pretty much everything.

This little corner of the internet is where I keep some of it.

What’s here

What I work on

  • Security operations and incident response: monitoring, log analysis, and responding to attacks as they happen
  • Network defense and system hardening: Windows Server, Linux, firewalls, and routers
  • Identity and access management: Active Directory, access control, and least privilege
  • Zero Trust architecture: the focus of my research and design work
